Conditions of Entry
At Auckland Stadiums we go out of our way to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable experience. In return, we ask you to respect our facilities and help contribute to an enjoyable event for all our patrons. To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the following conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.
Patrons and visitors must allow authorised staff to search their vehicles, clothes, bags, containers or other possessions for items in violation of these conditions of entry.
Any patron or visitor who refuses to participate in searches, appears intoxicated, under the influence of drugs or exhibits disorderly behaviour may be denied entry, asked to leave the venue and/or be trespassed.
These conditions apply to all of our venues - Mt Smart Stadium, North Harbour Stadium, Western Springs Stadium
Dress Code
For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.
We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.
No high-visibility vests or clothing may be worn.
Mt Smart Stadium is a SMOKE FREE venue. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vaporisers.
Prohibited Items
Commercially prepared foods such as takeaways and soft drinks
Chilly bins
Cans, aluminium or glass containers, bottles or cutlery (this includes bottles of perfume)
Alcohol or illicit drugs
Air horns or loud hailers
Furniture, chairs or stools
Prams or strollers
Animals (except for Assistance Dogs)
Dangerous goods
Video cameras and recording devices such as drones, iPads, tablets or Go Pros (cell phones are ok)
Cameras with a removable lens, a lens larger than a regular watch face or cameras which may be deemed to be for professional use
Selfie sticks
Costume/dress-up full-face masks and helmets
Large items that cannot be placed under the seat
Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters
Fireworks, flares or laser lights
Large poles for flags that could be considered dangerous or view obstructing
Items that in the opinion of management/security could cause harm or nuisance to other patrons
If in doubt, please leave it at home. Stadium Management takes no responsibility for goods surrendered.
Items of value recovered after an event will be held at the stadium for 5 working days after which they will be handed into the Auckland Central Police Station.

A small bag that can fit under your seat *
Sealed plastic bottle of water up to 1 Litre (lid may be removed on entry) *
Small quantities of home prepared food such as sandwiches, baking or fruit
Rain or shade umbrellas - Strictly permitted for sporting events only. Please be considerate of patrons around you
Banners, flags and posters at the discretion of Stadium Management *
Picnic blankets and mats

Our Covid 19 Guidelines and Requirements
When Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland moves to the Covid-19 Protection Framework system on 3 December 2021, re-entry for audiences and visitors to Auckland Unlimited venues will be permitted at the system’s Red setting under the following mandatory conditions:
All visitors and patrons required to show a valid My Vaccine Pass as proof of vaccination.
Contact registration using the NZ Covid Tracer App or manual log at points of entry.
Wearing a face covering while in our venues.
In addition, all Auckland Unlimited staff will be required to be fully vaccinated.
Auckland Unlimited is making it mandatory from 3 December 2021 for all visitors and patrons to show a valid My Vaccine Pass and sign in at our venues using the NZ Covid-19 Tracer App or Auckland Unlimited’s visitor log. In addition, visitors and staff in public-facing positions must wear face coverings while in our venues.

Drugs & Alcohol
At Auckland Stadiums, we maintain a strict 'no drugs' policy. Illicit drugs and alcohol are prohibited from being brought into our venues and if found will be confiscated at the gate and the patron(s) refused entry. Any persons apprehended with drugs in their possession inside the stadium will be escorted from the premises. Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation requires it.
Auckland Stadiums complies with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons. There will be zero tolerance for intoxication at Auckland Stadiums events. Those who arrive at stadium gates intoxicated will be refused entry into the event, and patrons who become intoxicated will be escorted from the venue. Intoxicated or under-aged persons who are apprehended with alcohol will be escorted from the premises. Persons supplying alcohol to underage patrons will be evicted from the premises and the matter may be referred to the Police.
