This October 11th, Auckland is turning up the heat with Afrosoul, Aotearoa&rsquo;s ultimate celebration of rhythm, flavour and creativity.

Afrosoul brings together the electrifying pulse of live Afrobeat music, a kaleidoscope of African art, authentic cuisine, dance battles, and soul-stirring community vibes.

And for the first time ever in NZ, the global giant of Afro-fusion himself - Burna Boy - will take the stage with a performance that promises to shake the city.

Food &amp; drink

<ul>
	<li>No outside food or drink is permitted - all bags are searched on arrival.</li>
	<li>Afrosoul is licensed to sell food &amp; drinks and provides great, well-stocked bars.</li>
	<li>There are plenty of free drinking water stations throughout the site &ndash; you can bring a clear, empty water bottle (that is not metal or hard plastic!) to fill up and stay hydrated throughout the day.</li>
	<li>Afrosoul will do their best to cater to a wide range of dietary requirements and food allergies.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

If you need to bring Hydralyte or electrolytes, you&#39;re welcome to do so as long as it&rsquo;s sealed, unopened, and in its original packaging.

Cameras &amp; recording devices

<ul>
	<li>No professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses) are permitted without formal media accreditation.</li>
	<li>Likewise no audio or film recording equipment can be brought into the Festival.</li>
	<li>Please note, small digital cameras for personal use are allowed.</li>
</ul>

Prescription Medication

<ul>
	<li>You can bring prescription medication into the event, BUT the medication needs to be in it&#39;s original packaging with the dispensary label matching the name on the ID of the ticket holder.</li>
	<li>Only bring the amount of medication you need for the duration of the event.</li>
	<li>If you would like to store your medication with our medical team, please advise a staff member upon entry and we will be able to direct you.</li>
	<li>Please note that your bag will still be searched by security prior to entering the festival.</li>
	<li>Over-the-counter medication for personal use (e.g., Panadol, Nurofen) is allowed at the festival.</li>
</ul>

Banned items

The following items are prohibited:

✘ Glass or breakable containers (makeup in glass bottles, mirrors and perfumes). 
✘ Cans or metal canisters including metal water bottles and aerosols 
✘ Skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, bicycles 
✘ Milk or bread crates or metal cans or containers 
✘ Chairs (folding, portable, camping) or any other furniture 
✘ Clothing with sharp studs that could cause injury to patrons (i.e. belts, wristbands, large chains etc.) 
✘ Club patches and jackets 
✘ Weapons of any kind (including potential missiles) 
✘ Flares, fireworks, smoke bombs, or any other explosive device. 
✘ Alcohol 
✘ Illicit drugs or paraphernalia including nangs, bongs or pipes. 
✘ Vapes &amp; E-Cigs with more than 110mL liquid (please note the venue may have specific smoking regulations and areas) 
✘ Sound or video recorders or professional cameras (with removable lens)(small still cameras are allowed) 
✘ Laser lights or laser pens 
✘ Umbrellas (bring a plastic poncho or raincoat instead) 
✘ Water pistols 
✘ Dogs or other pets (service dogs excepted) 
✘ Fires and open flames of any kind 
✘ Sound Systems 
✘ Eskies, coolers or chilly bins

What can/can’t I bring into the venue?

Yes.&nbsp;

	<li>For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times.</li>
	<li>We do not permit gang patches or gang paraphernalia to be displayed.</li>
	<li>No high-visibility vests or clothing may be worn.</li>
</ul>

Does the stadium have a dress code?

<h2>Afrosoul will be an 18+ event.</h2>

In summary, the minimum age requirement to attend&nbsp;Afrosoul will be 18 years of age (that is, 18 years as at the date of the event: Saturday 11 October 2025).

Accepted ID for ALL patrons attending Afrosoul will be as follows:

	<li>New Zealand Photo Driver&rsquo;s Licence or Learner&rsquo;s Permit</li>
	<li>Current Passport from any country</li>
	<li>Kiwi Access Card &ndash; 18+ photo identification card issued by Kiwi Access Card Solutions Ltd.</li>
	<li>HANZ 18+ Card &ndash; 18+ photo identification card issued by the Hotel Association of New Zealand</li>
	<li>Birth Certificate (certified copy is okay) PLUS a Current Photo ID. We must be able to verify both your age and your photo ID, we cannot accept one without the other.</li>
</ul>

Anyone who fails to present an Accepted ID upon entry will not be allowed into Afrosoul. No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.

The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms &amp; Conditions apply to everyone attending Afrosoul. Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities.

Are there age restrictions?

Banners, flags (without poles) and posters made from soft materials such as cloth, cardboard or paper are permitted. Signs should not be larger than A1 in size and&nbsp;must not obstruct the view of other patrons.

Larger banners and flags with poles will only be allowed into the venue once they have been reviewed and approved by the stadium security team&nbsp;before arrival to the gate.
